I’m happy I am finally done with one of my side projects.  I’ve been building an 8-bit computer as something to do on the side at home.  It is based on Albert Malvino’s Simple As Possible-1 architecture (SAP-1) as described in Digital Computer Electronics.  Ben Eater has some great videos and item lists about this sort of project at https://eater.net/8bit/ – I spent a lot of time on that website building this thing.

It ended up looking pretty good as decor.
