This is an excerpt from the UNL media ( http://news.unl.edu/newsrooms/unltoday/article/hartline-moseman-urban-receive-kudos-honor/ ):

Hartline is the information technology manager for the College of Business Administration. He was nominated for helping maintain CBA’s help desk quality after the college partnered with Information Technology Services in 2013.

Since the partnership and a change to a more visible location in CBA, the college’s help desk has absorbed a significant increase in service requests. Hartline, working with David DeFruiter, has maintained help desk quality by hiring and developing a core group of student employees who are team-oriented.

“He not only promotes good teamwork, but instills accountability and leadership in each and every student employee,” Hartline’s nominator wrote. “They are fully engaged in their work for the college and understand they are each important members of our team.”

Hartline was also honored for his dedication to CBA and UNL.

“The number of service tasks he alone completes in a week is astounding,” Hartline’s nominator wrote. “He completes many of these tasks after hours, during special events and on weekends. David is constantly putting CBA and UNL needs in front of his own.”

Working with DeFruiter, Hartline also helped develop and coordinate dependable IS-contracted services for CBA, reducing overall information technology expenses.
